A 20-year path to building AI that does the work
I've spent the last 20 years building software and automation systems — from early scripting that shaved hours off back-office work to full platforms that run mission-critical operations. Along the way, one pattern kept repeating: the most valuable people in any business were stuck doing the most repetitive work.
My background is in machine learning and, more recently, building AI agents — systems that don’t just answer questions but actually get work done. When large language models became capable enough to read messy documents, follow multi-step processes, and act reliably, I saw a chance to solve that repetitive-work problem for an industry drowning in it: insurance.
So we kept the team deliberately small. Today it’s just the two of us — enough to move fast, talk to every customer directly, and ship agents that actually reflect how brokerages really work. No bloat, no hand-offs, just software built by the people who understand the problem.
